1974 State AA Champion Football
Coach Jack Stark has been a loyal fan of
Settle & Sons Tires for 10 years.
The shop on First &Cota has grown a
lot since he bought his first tire there, and
they've started a new store in Poulsbo.
But they haven't lost that 'small business'
feeling. "They're still a 'hometown'
company," Stark says. "They treat
everyone like a preferred customer."
Settles keep the coach's snow tires for
him during the off-season. When the first
hard weather hits, he (and everyone else l)
rushes in to have his tires changed over.
"When they're swamped, they'll stay
open until everybody's been taken
care of. There aren't many businesses
left that will do that for their cue-
tamerS,"
"You can always count on Settle &
Sons . . • for good tires, good pricu
and good service."
STARTING QUARTERBACK Friday will be senior Willy
Nutt, here practicing a handoff in practice. Nutt also is a
starting defensive back.
