Bob was born on May 14th, in Oakland, California, but he was raised, in Sonoma. graduating. Sonoma Valley High school, he enrolled at {a Rosa Junior. College andthen enlisted in the U.S. Army in 960, spending three years in Germany. After his time in the y, he worked a variety of jobs including the U.S. Postal Service and the Design Division at Mare Island Naval Shipyard, until he i found his love with the Fire Service, which he dedicated the next 40 years to. He was always there for them, cheering them on their games, ,g’raduations, or just his appreciation for a family dinner; oved trains, and finding the end of any dirt road or trail. 1 Come celebrate Bob’s life with us on September23, 2023, at the Sentima Valley Fire Station No. 2, 877 Center Street in Sonoma from 11 a.m. to 3 pm. Being a firefighter, was one of his biggest passions, but he also ‘ Randy Endicott Randy Endicol‘t, beloved husband, brother, friend, father, grandfather and teacher, went home to be with Jesus on August 22, 2023, at 69 years old, following a brief battle with lymphoma. . Randy was born in May 1954 to Richard and Rachel Hndicott. He grew up a country boy in Hoodsport, Washington, and he carried on the family traditions of hiking, camping, trout fishing, and exploring the outdoors throughout his life. He graduated from Shelton High School in 1972 and Seattle Pacific University in 1976, witha degree in elementary education, majoring in PE. Randy married his childhood crush Sheryl Sund on December 16th, 1978, and they soon bought a house in Hoodsport where they raised four children. Being an elementary school teacher was Randy’s lifelong career and one of his many joys. He taught for one year at Hood Canal Junior High before beginning his time at Mason County Christian School where he taught various grade levels, and sometimes acted as principal and administrator, for the next 45 years. His students remember him a fun—loving teacher who played with them, cared for them, and poured his heart into whatever activities he did with them: outdoor adventures, music, sports, art, drama, and more. In addition to teaching, Randy was very active in his local church. He led Sunday Worship for many years at Bridge Community Church, Family Bible Fellowship, and (most recently) Hood Canal Community Church. Randy was passionate about‘music as a way to praise God. He enjoyed helping young musicians learn to play together, and also loved informal sing—a-longs, especially with gospel music. Randy is survived by his wife Sheryl, sister Rhonda, brothers Rick and Rob, daughters limily, Betsy, and Lucy, son Luke, and 17 grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy of people who were touched and changed by his contagious humor, joy, and love of people. He practiced what he preached and lived out his faith in Jesus Christ in numerous tangible ways. He leaves a big hole, but passes on abig faith. The memorial service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 6:00 pm. in the Shelton High School auditorium. Inez “Nezzy” Glee (Benson) Jeffers Inez “Nezzy” Glee (Benson) Jeffers was born on January 19, 1958 to Walter and Pearl Benson, in Seattle, Washington. She passed on July 16, 2023, at home with family and friends around her. K She is survived by brother, ‘Walter (Marjorie) Benson and sister Marilyn Kolcz, both parents. She is preceded in death by beth parents and her brother Jimmy. Nezzy was engaged to Ronald Shipp, who passed away before their son Ron was born in 1979. She married Jeff Jeffers in 1980 and they had two sons, Jake and Aaron. Jeff was in the Navy, so the next few years they traveled a lot. They moved to Shelton in 1996 and divorced in 2005. In 2006 she met Dave, the love of her life. V ~ They had been together for 17 years. Nezzy was always there for everyone. She always put everyone’s needs ahead of her own. She had a wonderful smile. She loved flowers and was an excellent gardener; she was a good poker‘player and even went to the WP'I‘L playoffs in Las Vegas. If you had a problem with your phone or computer, she could usually figure it out. She will be greatly missed by all! She is survived by her life partner 'Dave Wear, three sons, Ron Shipp, Jake (Krysten) and Aaron, three stepdaughters, Bekah (Ed), Julia and Trinity (Ryan), seven grandsons, four granddaughters and one great—grandson, also close friends Gail Yates, Maria Perez, Debbi Jones and many other friends and family. There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at 1 1:00 a.m. at Fred and Debbi Jones’ 2494 E. Pickering Rd., Shelton Washington ('lhe Shelter). A potluck will follow. Please bring your favorite dish, with your stories and memories.
