CT program at
hospital passes
The Mason General Hospital and
Family of Clinics' computer tomog-
raphy program, or CAT scan, passed
the American College of Radiology
standard for accreditation, identifying
the program as one of the best in the
country.
The American College of Radiology
is known as the "gold" standard in the
industry, according to a news release
from the hospital. Its system, based
on quality and safety of a CT program,
involves a comprehensive review of
the entire CT system, including staff,
policies, procedures and scanning pro-
tocols.
Mason General Hospital recognized
its CT staff for its dedication and hard
work on a daily basis. The hospital
also specifically recognized Shane
Faford, CT lead technologist, who pre-
pared the hospital's submission for the
award.
