Commission
didn't request
sheriffs help
At last Tuesday's meeting,
county resident Ray Jenne read
remarks to the Mason County
Board of Commissioners. He was
reacting to having heard the com-
missioners had requested the
sheriffs department to provide a
law-enforcement presence at their
meetings out of concern for Jenne's
recent behavior.
However, Commissioner Tim
Sheldon said the board never
made such a request to the sheriff
or his staff.
