Cook twins
brew up fun
The Cook twins, Lynn and Lori,
have wanted to attend the festivi-
ties at Twinsburg, Ohio, for a long
time.
Born and raised in Shelton and
graduating from Shelton High
School in 1969, Lynn is now mar-
ried to Jeff Haskins and Lori mar-
ried Mike Smith. To attend the last
national gathering of twins, the
sisters drove more than 4,000 miles
by way of Yellowstone and Mount
Rushmore national parks.
After being asked all their lives
"Which twin are you?" Lynn and
Lori enjoyed meeting other twins
of every age. Some twins traveled
from as far away as New Zealand.
Ages ranged from babies to a couple
of 90-year-old men in wheelchairs.
Lynn and Lori are identical
twins with the same contact lens
prescription. They have enjoyed
tricking a few people in the past,
such as teachers and friends.
They live in Olympia. Lynn
works at Saint Peter Hospital and
Lori for Goodwill Industries. They
are the daughters of Marguerite
Gibson and the late Ray Cook.
