Pursuant to RCW 43.21C.080, notice of
action is hereby given that the City. of Shel-
ton has issued a Mitigated Determination
of Nonsignificance (MDNS) under the State
Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter
197-11-WAC) for the following project: Lo-
cation: Block 12 of the Angleside Addition
to Shelton, The block is bounded by Grant
Avenue to the South, Harvard Avenue right.

tion: Installation of street frontage improve*
ments (1/2 street improvements as required
by the City of Shelton Design and Construc-
tion Standards including: curb, gutter, and
sidewalk, drainage improvements, water

frontages of Grant Street adjacent to lots 9
through 13, 9th Street from Grant Street to
the platted alley, the platted alley will be im
proved and augmented with a 20 foot wide
traveled way constructed to City standards

and buffer, as well as on the southeastern
portion of the site, to the south of the alley,
in the approximate location of existing lots
15 and 16. All project stormwater related to
the lots and roadway improvements would be
directed to the noted galleries for infiltration
into the ground. The project would also ex-
tend and upsize the existing stormwater drain
lines in 8th street between Harvard and May
Avenue as necessary.

tion: Installation of street frontage improve*
ments (1/2 street improvements as required
by the City of Shelton Design and Construc-
tion Standards including: curb, gutter, and
sidewalk, drainage improvements, water
and sewer connections, etc.) on the project
frontages of Grant Street adjacent to lots 9
through 13, 9th Street from Grant Street to
the platted alley, the platted alley will be im
proved and augmented with a 20 foot wide
traveled way constructed to City standards
(an additional 5' of right-of-way on each side
of the alley will be either directly dedicated
to the City of Shelton or an easement will be
provided for its use as required by the City
of Shelton Department of Public Works), 8th
street will be constructed from the alley to
Harvard Street, and along Harvard Street to
the required 80 foot wetland buffer. Infiltration
galleries are proposed to be installed on the
north side of the alley, to the west of the four
lots to be developed, south of the wetland
and buffer, as well as on the southeastern
portion of the site, to the south of the alley,
in the approximate location of existing lots
15 and 16. All project stormwater related to
the lots and roadway improvements would be
directed to the noted galleries for infiltration
into the ground. The project would also ex-
tend and upsize the existing stormwater drain
lines in 8th street between Harvard and May
Avenue as necessary.

2007 BUDGET
Supplemental Appropriation/Notice of
Hearing
WHEREAS, by reason of conditions
which could not be reasonably foreseen at
the time of making the budget for the year
2007, it is necessary to make provision for a
supplemental appropriation to the 2007 Bud-
get as authorized by RCW 36.40.100 and
RCW 36.40.195 for unanticipated grant rev-
enue from the WA State Administrative Office
of the Court to the Juvenile Court Guardian
Ad Litem (GAL)/Court Appointed Special Ad-
vocate (CASA) Program. This grant wilt be
used to hire additional staff.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
Board of Mason County Commissioners:
That the 18th of September 2007 at the
hour of 9:30 AM in the Mason County Com-
missioners Chambers in Courthouse Building
I, 411 North Fifth Street, Shelton, Washing-
ton, is hereby fixed as the time and place for
a public hearing upon the matter of a supple-
mental appropriation to the 2007 Budget as
