The virus ground to a halt Mike and
Roberta Quiggel’s business in Hood-
sport.
“Initially it shut us down until we
could get things figured out and ad-
just to the environment that we’re in,”
Mike told the Shelton-Mason County
Journal.
The Medical Lake couple moved to
the Peninsula in 1984 when Mike was
offered a promotion with the Depart-
ment of Corrections. When he retired
in 1999, they started a new company,
primarily doing interior repairs on au—
tomobiles.
The Quiggel’s business is called Mo-
bile Detailing by Mike.
“I repaired leather, vinyl and I
worked primarily for auto dealerships,”
he said and then in 2013 they decided
to become snow birds, “and changed
the focus to detailing to accommodate
that.”

RVs, in many cases people are buying

Last week Mike took delivery of a
new unit that will hold 10 gallons of
heated water.
“It has a diesel-fired boiler and it

up to liquid saturation.”
He noted that around Western
Washington and especially in the win-
ter months there is so much rain that
when you shampoo carpet it gets Wet
and it is difficult to dry but with with
trapped in carpeting can’t be removed
by steam. '
“As far as killing bacteria or viruses
of every flavor, the most effective is
steam and usually the higher the
temperature, the better. It’s generally
used ones.”
And those used RVs need to be prop-
erly cleaned.
“The concern is, how do we make
sure it’s safe and clean up anything left
