Girls swimming
Shelton won its opening swim
meet of the season on the road
against Tumwater on Sept. 20 and
followed it up with a victory on the
road against Black Hills on Sept. 22,
in Evergreen Conference meets.
The Highclimbers defeated the
Thunderbirds 96-83. Shelton’s Lelia '
Ollenburg won the 200-yard free—
style race with a time of 2 minutes,
20 seconds. Kaylin Mutoli won the
200-yard individual medley with a
time of 2:37. Madeline Allred won
the 50-yard freestyle with a time of
26 seconds and the ’100-yard free--
style with a time of 1:01.
The ZOO-yard freestyle relay team
of Abbi Sachs, Mutoli, Ollenburg
and Allred won with a time of 1:55.
The 400-yard freestyle relay team of
Allred, Ollenburg, Mutoli and Sachs
won with a time of 4:23.
Shelton defeated Black Hills 114-
58. Mutoli won the ZOO-yard free—
style with a time of 2:15 and the 100—
yard backstroke with a time of 1:09.
Sachs won the ZOO-yard individual
medley in 2:56. Allred won the 50-
yard freestyle with a time of 27.24
seconds. Ollenburg won the 100-
yard butterfly in 1:09 and the 500-
yard freestyle with a time of 6:24.
The 200-yard medley relay team of
Sachs, Mutoli, Ollenburg and Allred
won with a time of 2:11. The 200-
yard freestyle relay of Madeline
Smith, Hailey LaCelle, Cassie Muen-
chow and Fiona Dowling won with a
time of 2:21. The 400-yard freestyle
relay of Allred, Ollenburg, Mutoli
and Sachs won in 4:23.
Shelton competed at Olympic
High School on Saturday. The High—
climbers traveled to Centralia on
Tuesday and hit the road to take on
Eatonville today.
Girls soccer
The Highclimber girls soccer team
dropped a pair of Evergreen Confer-
ence matches to Centralia and Tum-
water last week.
Shelton fell 20 on the road against
Centralia on Sept. 20 before falling
9-0 at home against Tumwater on
Sept. 22.
Shelton (1—5,r0-3) traveled to Roch-
' ester on Tuesday and is in Aberdeen
today for league games.
Boys tennis
Shelton fell in its opening two
matches of the season to River Ridge
and Black Hills last week.
The Highclimbers lost 3-2 against
River Ridge on Sept. 19 before losing
the first Evergreen Conference match
of the season against Black Hills at
home Sept. 21-.
Shelton traveled to W.F. West on
Wednesday, hosts Aberdeen on Fri-
day andrtravels to Tumwater to take
on Black Hills on Monday.
Volleyball
The Highclimbers dropped matches
against Centralia and Tumwater last
week in Evergreen Conference volley-
ball matches.
Centralia edged Shelton 3-2 in the
Mini-Dome on Sept. 20. Shelton fell

road Sept. 22. .
Shelton (1—3, 0-2) hosted Rochester
on Tuesday and faces Aberdeen at
home today in EvCo matches.
CroSs country
Shelton boys finished fourth as a
team at the Ramrock and Oly cross
country meet Sept. 21 at Saint Mar‘
tin’s University in Lacey.
Shelton’s Jacob Miller finished
third with a time of 16 minutes, 26
seconds.
J aydon Blackburn placed fifth with
a time of 16:33 and Carson Bursch
was also in the top 10, taking ninth in
17:13.
Landon Bursch earned 44th place
in 19:02, Jack Parker took 46th
in 19:11.2 and Richard Beckman
was right behind Parker in 47th in
19:11.4.
In the girls race, Shelton’s Lily
Bennet finished seventh in 21:22. ‘
« Madison Lohmeyer placed 25th in
23:49 and Ashely Gooding finished in
69th place with a time of 28:53.

bers Bay Golf Course in University

North Mason
Football
The Bulldogs fell to North Kitsap
67-0 on Sept. 24 in Belfair.
North Mason (0-4, 0-2) travels to
Bremerton on Friday for an Olympic
League game.
Girls soccer
North Mason fell 7-0 in two match-
es against Port Angeles and Bremer—
ton last week. _
The Bulldogs fell to Port Angeles
at home on Sept. 20 and lost against
Bremerton on the road Sept. 22.
North Mason (0-5, 0-4) hosted
Olympic _on Tuesday and is on the
'road against Kingston today in Olym-
pic League games. .
Volleyball
North Mason fell to Port Angeles at
home prior to earning its first win of
the season against Bremerton.
The Bulldogs lost 3—2 in Belfair
on Sept. 20 against the Roughrid-
ers. North Mason won the first set,
25-23, but lost the second set, ‘25—20.
North Mason regained the lead with
a 25-22 third set win before Port An-
geles evened the match with a 25-16
fourth set win and won the match
With a 15-10 fifth set victory. Senior
Desarae Timmons had eight kills and
four blocks, senior Teegan Skjonsby
recorded four kills and four digs, and
sophomore Adrianna Tupolo tallied
seven kills and two blocks.
North Mason swept Bremerton
on Sept. 22 with set scores of 2624,
25-19 and 25—13. Senior Ashlynn Ste-
phens had four aces, nine assists and
three digs and Skjonsby had three
aces, four kills and two digs. Junior
Tanza Tupolo had two aces and five
kills and sophomore Kalli Wynn had
one ace, one kill and two digs for the
