The report came at 3:22 a. 111. Officers were told by Rick Miller, a member of the Skokomish indian fish patrol, that he was on patrol with two other men, Bill Edenfield and Steve DeMiero, and had shined a light on the bridge. Officers were told shots were fired at the fish patrol men after they shined the light on the bridge. The shots hit the water. About 20 feet on the Skokomish Reservation side of the bridge was damaged by the fi re. The bridge is on private property.
