Jerry Seterdahl, Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, Brother
and Friend, left this world on Sept 10th sur-
rounded by the love of his family.
He lived his last days on earth much like he lived
the rest of his life; quick to joke, quick to laugh and
quick to wink at the ladies.
Dad had many careers, interests and passions
over his 79 years. He joined the US Navy in 1958
and served for four years. He was very proud of his
service and was even reliving those memories until
the end.
Maybe it-was his service at sea or maybe it was
his upbringing in the Puget Sound area that led to
his lifelong love of boating and fishing.
Even in his last days he was talking about memo—
, ries of fishing in Neah Bay.
He loved woodworking, cooking and he was a voracious reader.
He lived all over the Pacific Northwest and chose to spend his final
years
in the Lake Cushman area. .
He was a salesman, a laborer, an ironworker, a handyman but at heart he
was a philosopher (what his philosophy was, is still a mystery though!)
He loved a good laugh and he always wanted to make others laugh- the
phrase “Dad joke” accurately describes his sense of humor... hell, he
probably
invented the genre.
Even when he knew his days were numbered he was facing that fact with
his classic sense of humor.
He was so grateful to be able to say his goodbxes to his children and told
us all how lucky he was.
A final example of grace to us all;
He is survived by his children Suzie Hart, Lisa Starck, DJ F orza and
McComb Wagner Funeral Home and Crematory
Gavin Haugen. '
Rest easy, Dad. You were loved and you will never be fprgotten.
