Mr. and Mrs. Brandt Orme
Vows exchan ed in church
On September 6 in Mount
Olive Lutheran Church Julie
Gay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Gay, became the bride of
Brandt Orme, son of Dr. T. B.
Orme and Mrs. Eddythe Orme,
both of Sheiton. The double-
ring ceremony was performed
at 2 p.m. by Pastor Roland
Huber.
Charles Gay, brother of the
bride, played a piano selection
as the bridal party convened at
the altar. Henry and Fern Gay
gave their daughter in marriage
with Liv Jenner as matron of
honor and Jim Dickinson as
best man.
Wendy Gay was bridesmaid
for her sister-in-law. Grooms-
man was Cyril Orme, brother of
the groom. Ushers were Ryan
Ornle, brother of the groom,
and brother- of- the- bride
Charles Gay. Organist was
Stephen Gay, brother of the
bride.
The ice-blue kettlecloth
floor-length gown worn by the
bride was accented by blue
floral trim and styled with long,
full sleeves and a mandarin
collar. Her attendants, who
fashioned their own dresses,
were attired in copen blue
styled identically to the bridal
gown. All wore wide-brimmed
white hats and carried bouquets
of daisies and baby's breath.
Men of the bridal party
chose corduroy jackets in
tobacco leaf brown with natural
colored slacks. The groom wore
a beige tie with his dark brown
shirt. His attendants selected
beige shirts and dark brown
ties.
Immediately after the cere-
mony a reception was held in
the home of the bride's parents.
