The general election is on Tuesday, November 7. Amidst the
many seats up for election this cycle, the Chamber has invited
the City of Shelton Council candidates and the Port of Shelton
Commissioner to a public forum.
This forum will include the City ofShelton Councilmember and
Port ofShelton Commissioner candidates. This forum will
provide each candidate the opportunity for a self—introduction,
to answer predetermined questions, and to ask a question of
their opponents. This event is free and open to the public. The
Chamber is partnering and co—hosting the event with Shelton—
Mason County Journal and KMAS Radio; the event will also be
streamed by MasonWebTV powered by Hood Canal

The Chamber makes it a point to be at the heart of important
issues like workforce development, quality oflife, and civic
engagement. That said, the Chamber is not a political action
committee and does not endorse candidates. The Chamber is an
independent organization led by the private sector. We provide
nonpartisan information and host community education and
outreach opportunities because we believe people have a right to
know what candidates for public office believe about issues that
affect our community.
It is our goal to give every citizen the ability to learn more about
policy making candidates and encourage you to get out and vote.
