Act Early, Vote Safely " [hat does it mean to Act Early, Vote Safely? Acting early means registering, updating . ' > your voter informa- tion, and returning your ballot as soon as possible. You can easily check the status of your regis- tration by going to VoteWA. gov or by calling the Mason County Elections office at 360-427-9670 X470. Acting early allows voters to mark and return their ballot promptly via mail or ballot drop box. There are ten drop boXes around the county By PADDY McGUIRE that are available 24/7 until 8 pm. on November 3rd. Acting early means no standing in line, as those who wait too long inevi- tably do. New registrations, updates, and ballot issuing must be done in person the last 8 days of the voting period. November 23rd Last day to f'cure" a problem with your ballot such as no signature.
