Is your refund missing?
Taxpayers who have not yet received their income tax refunds and
suspect that they may be lost in the mail, stolen or forged, should
contact the Internal Revenue Service immediately. "While the
responsibility of the Internal Revenue Service ends when refund
information is given to the Treasury Department's Regional Disbursing
Centers who issues the checks, the IRS will assist taxpayers in tracing
missing checks," IRS District Director Michael Sassi said.
