LETTERS, chained igbéealié
An endorsement
for Griffey,
MacEwen
Editor, the Journal,
After years of noting the accom-
plishments and dedication of our state
representatives of Mason County” and
District 35, I heartily recommend '
Rep. Dan Griffey and Rep. Drew
MacEwen to carry on in the state Leg-
islature.
A vote for them Nov. 3 will enable
them to continue their work to im—
prove government spending, to sup-
port law enforcement, education, etc.
They are very dedicated to protect-
ing our interests, join me and vote.

Voting for Randy
Editor, the Journal,
This coming election is going to
be an important one for our country,
and we have lots of people voting
party lines, I am a proud Republican,
a fan of President Donald Trump,
Mike Fence and I will also be voting
for Loren Culp for governor, but for
our county commission I am voting
for Randy Neatherlin. I know him to
be a good hard-working family man

and he has been the right man for
the job. The work he has done with
the ARC of the Peninsulas helping
the developmentally disabled alone
should make clear his dedication to
serving all. I have had the pleasure of
knowing Randy for a long time and he
is always working on imprbving our
community. So this Republican will
be voting for Randy.

Watch out
for leftists
Editor, the, Journal,
First the leftists vandalized,
looted and burned the businesses
and dreams in our liberal cities, and
because many of us did not live there,
we did not protest. Next, the leftists
burned our American flag, tore down
the statue of General Grant, and van-
dalized the Lincoln Memorial and the
World War 11 Memorial.
Though most of us were deeply

saddened by this, many of us did not
protest. Then the leftists spat on,
wounded and murdered our police of-
ficers, and assaulted our firefighters
while they were trying to put out the
fires their mobs had set. And though
most of us were shocked by this, many
still did not protest. Then the leftists
came to the suburbs and countryside
for the rest of us, and it was too late
to protest.
Move away from the left and their
pregnant hate. There is still time for
us to peacefully protest the left and
their current embrace of the social—
ism and communism that has brought
misery, poverty and death to millions
of people around the world; and Joe
Biden’s record. Remember: Biden
advised against the raid that killed
Osama bin-Laden.
Biden supported letting China
into the World Trade Organization
costing the loss of over 3 million
more American jobs, and turning
China into a superpower. Robert
Gates (Obama’s former defense sec—
retary) said in a 2019 interview that
Biden “has been wrong on nearly
every major foreign policy and na-
tional security issue over the past
four decades.” Biden wants open
borders and to defund the police in
an age of pandemics, terrorism and
violent crime. Biden’s running mate,
Harris, is a sponsor of a Senate bill
that would remove all restrictions on
abortion.
Please join me and other former
Democrats across the country, along
with Republicans, and independents
to re-elect President Donald Trump,
who has done so much for American
workers of all creeds and colors, and
their families for the past 3% years.

We don’t publish letters about bal-
lot measures and candidates on the
Thursday before the election, because
there would be no opportunity for
rebuttal. Political letters must be sub-
mitted at least two weeks before an
election. The Oct. edition will be the
cut-off date this year. Only rebuttal let-
ters will be allowed the following week.
