According to investigators, the sus-
pects can be seen on video at various
businesses renting the two U-Haul
vans in Vancouver on Sept. 29 and in
Lacey on Sept. 30, before they joined
Roberts in checking into the Lucky Ea-
gle Casino & Hotel in Rochester, Thur-
ston County, about 6 pm. on Sept. 30,
with all three leaving together shortly
before 8:30 pm.
In court documents, a detective
wrote that a video of Roberts, by her-
self, buying alcohol with Craig’s ID, at
a Lacey grocery store, was the last sur-
veillance footage of her, before he be-
lieves she was killed early in the morn-
ing of Oct. 1.

homicide and other related charges,
with bail set at $1.5 million.
The vehicle was towed and booked
as evidence in connection with the ho—
micide.
About 5:54 p.m.. on Oct. 10, the Hum-
boldt County Sheriff’s Office Emergen-
cy Communications Center received a
911 report of an attempted carjacking
near Samoa, Humboldt County. A vehi-
cle salesman told dispatchers he was on
a test drive with a man, later identified
as Collett,.who asked the victim, who
was driving, to pull the vehicle over.
Collett then'reportedly exited the
vehicle and brandished a firearm in an
attempt to steal the vehicle, but the Vic-
