A rosary was recited at the Bastone Funeral Home at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The funeral mass was held at St. Edward's Catfiolic church on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Father Gabriel officiating. Burial was in the Shelton Memorial Park. Mr. Simmons was the judge for the Skokomish Tribal Fishing Court for several years and was instrumental in the formation of the Northwest Tribal Judges Association, the first organization of its kind in the U.
