A rosary was recited at the
Bastone Funeral Home at 7 p.m.
Tuesday. The funeral mass was
held at St. Edward's Catfiolic
church on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
with Father Gabriel officiating.
Burial was in the Shelton
Memorial Park.
Mr. Simmons was the judge for
the Skokomish Tribal Fishing
Court for several years and was
instrumental in the formation of
the Northwest Tribal Judges
Association, the first organization
of its kind in the U. S.
He also served as a school board
member for a number of years and
was a member of the board of the
Mason County Multi-Service
Center.

Everett Yacht club.
She was born Sept. 13, 1907,
in Seattle, and is survived by her
husband, Peter Anderson, of
Everett; a brother Fred Peste,
Shelton; five nieces, Mrs. Arden
(Marlene) Pierce, Mrs. Gilbert
(Sharon) Johnston, and Mrs. Karl
(Shirley) Karschner, all of
Shelton, Mrs. Howard (Ruth)
Pande, and Mrs. Emmett
(Frances) Springer of Mercer
Island.
The funeral service .was held
Tuesday in the Purdy and Waiters
Funeral Home in Everett at 11
a.m. The Rev. Horace Mounts
officiated at graveside services at
3 p.m. in the Shelton Memorial
Park.
