Rotary 00udent
Of The Month
CALVIN GUSTAFSON, Shelton High school student, will
be honored at Rotary meeting today as Rotary Student of
the Month. Calvin, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Gus-
tafson of Ho odsport, was selected by a faculty committee
to receive the honor in the vocational subject area. He is
a shop assistant in the Junior High school Metals class
and a member of the Auto Mechanics class. His teachers
describe him as efficient, courteous, capable and depend-
able. Calvin's hobbies are hunting, fishing, camping and
hiking.

competition in his age group in
the recent Shelton Punt, Pass
and Kick Contest, nabbed another
first last week in district com-
petition at Tacoma.
The young athlete will compete
in another meet this Saturday
in Seattle, which willdraw
youngsters f r o m Washington,
Alaska, and Northern Oregon.
If he cops a first in Seattle,
he will compete in the regional
playoff which will be held at
halftime at a San Francisco For-
ty-N i n e r professional football
game at a later date.
