He was born October 3, 1958 in Oxnard, California to Billy and Mary Yvonne (Dehner) Porter. He married Teresa Johnson in 1981; they had one daughter, Nichole. Chris worked at Certified Aerospace in Shelton, he went back to school and became a civ- il engineer, and worked for Tacoma City Power Generation department for 20 years, where he retired. Chris loved his life and his baby girl. He was predeceased by his father, Billy Porter, mother, Mary "Yvonne" Porter, daugh- ter Nichole, and brother, Stuart Porter. He is survived by his sister, Victoria Peck, nephew, Joshua Vandiver, niece, Michelle Dotsun (Je- rome), and his ex-wife, Teresa Stevens. He will be buried with his daughter at Shelton Cemetery. Arrange- ments by McComb & Wagner Family Funeral Home & Crematory. .Janet M. Smith Janet M. Smith, 85, NNEP L HOME a 71-year resident of DIRECT CREMATION 427.-8044J Shelton passed away in on October 21 of natural causes, in Shelton. She was born October 26, 1931 in Vancouver, WA to Stella Smith (Wil- ford) and James Smith. She married Jack C. Smith on January 19, 1951 in Shelton. She was a homemaker and loved music, her grandchildren, time with family, and making people laugh. She is survived by her husband, Jack C. Smith of Shelton, sons Matt C. Smith and Randy S. Smith of Shelton; daugh- ter Valerie M. Robbins of Shelton, 10 grand- children and 10 great- grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, No- vember 1st at 2:00 pm at Shelton Memorial Park, with burial to follow. Ar- rangements by McComb & Wagner Family Funeral Home & Crematory.
