join are all reaay to welcome
them to the world of life- sans
all alarm clocks. They will
expect to visit soon with their
new grandson near Portland.
To do the work done by the
Chantlers will come an
interesting new family to this
area. They are Kirby and Ann
Swanson from Ellensburg. They
have a daughter, Melodic Ann
Burson, who resides with her
husband, Dale in Seattle.
Swanson spent a good deal ,of his
life until now, in the automotive
field. Their interests centered
around service-type
organizations. He was a Moose
Lodge governor of an 1,100
member group for eight years
and has already set the wheels in
motion for a transfer of his
32-year Lion's Club membership
to the local group.
In the last 10 years a number
of vacation kids on the canal
have grown to adult life, have
married and had children whom
they now bring out to visit the
world of their youth. Mike and
Pat Schell with Mandy Tomar
came for a visit with Norm and
Marg Schell. Mike lives in
Puyallup now. Michael Harris
with his sister, Cyndee Boone,
her husband, Perry, and
four-month.old Matt were guests
of their parents Bob and Sylvia
Harris.
