She was born January 16, i 1930 in Shelton, and had been a !resident of California for five years. Survivors include her i husband, Theodore Muller; one son, Tom Schroeder of Buckley, Washington; a daughter, Janet Schroeder of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; her parents, Laurence and Annette Munson; and one sister, Marilyn Breitsprecher of Carmichael, California. Maldor Lundquist Maldor Lundquist, a resident of Mount Vernon, died in the Skagit Valley Hospital on Friday at the age of 82 years. He was born in Sweden September 20, 1896, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lundquist. In 1903 he came to this country and settled at Poulsbo. In 1916 he settled In Shelton where he worked in logging. In 1947 he moved to Mount Vernon, where he had sine, resided. He was married to Ethel Mitchell in Warrenton, Oregon on December 16, 1923. Mr. Lundquist served with the United States Army during World War I in the Coast Artillery. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Golden Age group of the Kiwanis. Survivors are his wife, Ethel, of the family home; a daughter, Mrs. Laurene McCullough of Mount Vernon; two sons, William Lundquist and Robert Lundquist, both of Mount Vernon; one sister, Ellen Lundquist of Seattle; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A grandson and a brother preceded him in death. Memorial funeral services were held in the First United Methodist Church of Mount Vernon at 2 p.m. Monday with the Reverend David Ernst officiating. Cremation followed at the Hawthorne Lawn Crematory under the direction of the Kern Funeral Home, Mount Vernon. Witnesses set convention Announcement waz made thls Week by David Strata of the Shelton congregation that the next semi-annual convention for Jehovah's Witnesses in this area will be held at the Assembly Hall in Puyallup on the weekend of November 25 and 26. Strom stated that the two-day Bible education meeting "will draw more than 1;200 witnesses and interested persons. William C. Baxter, a special representative from New York headquarters of the Watchtower Society, will be the featured speaker for the convention. She was born in Seattle on March 30, 1920. She was a former resident of Shelton, where she was known as June E. Anderson. She was graduated from high school in Shelton in 1938, and her name at that time was June Smalley. Mrs. Stuck is survived by her husband, Larch F. Stuck; two sons, David Skagen of Shelton and Richard Anderson of Olympia; a step-son, Dennis Stuck of Enid, Oklahoma; and by her mother, Sally Braehm of Shelton. On Friday a memorial service was held in the Agate Road home of David and Chert Skagen. Stanley S. Yates A graveside service was held at 1 1 a.m; Wednesday in Harstene Island Cemetery for Stanley S. Yates who died Saturday in Fir Lane Terrace Convalescent Center at the age of 86 years. Pastor Kurt Hardenbrook officiated. Born in Crab Orchard, Nebraska on June 7, 1892, Mr. Yates had lived in Mason County since 1950. His home was on Harstine Island, where he held membership in Harstine Island Grange. He was a member of the First Christian Church and was a retired auto mechanic. Mr. Yates is survived by his wife, Annie M. Yates of Harstine Island; three sons, Harley S. Yates of Scottsdale, Arizona, Warren D. Yates of Phoenix, Arizona and Glenn R. Yates of Harstine Island; a daughter, TheJma Freshour of Shelton; a brother, Faust M. Yates of Olalla; a sister, Ruby Bireley of Livermore, California; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Kenneth Johnson Kenneth E. Johnson, 58, died in his Skokomish Valley home on November 1. He was born on October 5, 1920 in Carnation, Washington and came to Mason County in 1959. Mr. Johnson loved the out-of-doors, and his life was spent in outdoor activities. For more than 20 years he worked for the State Game Department, and at the time of his death was elnployed at the trout hatchery in Skokomish Valley. Surviving him are two sons, William Johnson of Matlock and Donald Johnson of Alaska; two daughters, Sandra Mulanax of Everett and Linda Happer of Bellevue; his step-mother, Grace Johnson of Fall City, Washington; three sisters, Gerry Tviet of Alaska and Shirley Thoreson and Mary Jo Carlson, both of Renton; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation was under the direction of Batstone Funeral Home, where Ben Danford, a friend of the family, officiated at a memorial service held at 3 p.m. Friday.
