The athletic facilities under con- struction and undergoing improve- ments are down to the final details, referred to as “punch list” items. The projects come courtesy Of $17 million in matching state money after district Voters passed a $64.7-million building bond on Valentine’s Day 2017. ' The baseball field sports a warning track in the outfield for the first time, and yellow pads soon will be added to the top of the outfield walls, Feeney said. The swimming pool has new floors, bleachers and a scoring system, all completed, Feeney said. “The pool is race ready competi— tion ready,” he said. The boys and girls lockers rooms are almost complete, and new equip— ment will soon be delivered to the weight room, Feeney said. “The wrestling team will finally have two full mats to put down at practices,” Feeney said.
