Obituaries
3/20/1954 — 10/31/2020
It is with almost overwhelming grief, and an
H M unremitting sense of loss, that I announce the
” death of Suzanne (Dodge) Brehmeyer. After an
18-month battle, Suzanne died from the effects
of pancreatic cancer. She was 66.
We met in May of 1974 in Evergreen Square.
I was cruising the gut with my best bud, Mike,
and she was with her friends, Kim and Joan,
hanging out in the Square. We were married 3
years later.
She was the loving mother of three great
children: Jesse, Jeremy, and Karyn.
I could write many lines describing how re-
markable she was: at being a wife, at being my best friend, at being a
mother, and at being a homemaker. How she was the heart of or fam-
ily. I could write on how devoted she was to her family and friends. I
could write on how she valiantly fought the battle against the cancer
or how she did not lose her positive attitude despite set-back after
set~back.
But there is no way I could put it all into words. Nothing I write
could convey any more than a hint of who she was and what she meant
to us. And most certainly couldn’t come close to expressing just how
much she will be missed.
I do wish to thank family and'friends that gave support to her and I
in our hour of need. It would have been an almost impossible journey
without you.
Karen Lee Tiller, 74, passed away Satur-
day, October 31st 2020, at her home.
She was born July 11, 1946, in Auburn,
California, to George and Alberta Colson. She
married William “Bill” Tiller on June 19, 1965,
in Yakima. Together they had three children.
Karen was a homemaker who loved to cook,
garden, sew and spend time at the beach.
Karen was raised in Randle, WA, and spent
time as a young girl learning to clean and pro-
cess wild meat brought home by her brothers.
This is a skill that she used when her own boys
started hunting. It was always appreciated
that mom could cut and wrap with the best of ‘em! Karen was fond
of time spent at the river fishing with her husband and children. She
enjoyed canning, and Grams canned peaches and jams were some of
the best around. Karen was just sharing with her oldest grandson
that she had never received a. speeding ticket; she was always a rule
follower! She was a giver, always putting others’ needs before her own
and would do anything for her kids and grandkids. She will be deeply
missed by all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill E. Tiller,
son, Bill J. Tiller, parents, George and Alberta Colson, sisters, Kim-
berly Pollman and Karla Colson and brother George “Sonny” Colson.
Surviving are daughter, Luana Tiller, son Chay Tiller and wife
Kim, grandchildren, Timmy, Bradley, Marissa, Tristan, Trevis, and
Tailynn Tiller all of Shelton, Nolan Coker of Shelton WA, who was
like a grandson to her, brother Ray Colson (Shana) of Randle, WA,
sister, Sharon Auman (Paul) of Onalaska, WA and brother Kevin Col-
son (Cindy) of Cinebar, WA, as well as many nieces, nephews and
K friends. /
