Jim & Lisa Monnerjahn Jim and Lisa Monner- jahn of Union announce their 25th wedding anni- versary. They were married on Nov. 14, 1987, in LaPlace, La. The couple is planning a trip to Seattle. Their anniversary will be celebrated at home. Their children are Dan- ny of Tacoma, Matthew (Nikki) of Jefferson, La., and Jessica (Scot) of Nash- ville, Tenn. They have four grand- children. Daniel Brown Daniel Lawrence Brown, 74, died on Nov. 8, 2012, at his home in Kamilche. He was born on Dec. 19, 1937, to Daniel and Effie (Bloomfield) Brown. He attended Irene S. Reed High School and graduated in 1957. He served two years in the U.S. Army, mostly in France. Daniel married Patty Daniel Dodds on Nov. 29, Brown 1968, in McCleary. He was a member of the Squaxin Island Tribe and was born in the same home in which he passed. After returning from military service, he went to work in the woods as a gyro logger. He worked with all four of his brothers for a time, but the majority of his logging was done with his brother Hank. He loved hunting, fish- ing, baseball, bowling, cribbage, pinochle and his horse Commanche. He liked all sports but especially the Mariners, his family shared. He was a youth baseball coach and could be found pacing the foul lines at his children's ball games. He is survived by wife Patty Brown of Shel- ton; children Paul, John (Dawn), Jennifer and Amy; grandchildren Erica, Krissa, Alex, Abby, Grace, Casey, Journey Bear and Josiah of Shelton; sister Ruth (Stub) Creekpaum of McCleary; and several niec- es, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; broth- ers Ed, Joe, Bill and Hank; and sisters Jean and Sally. Visitation will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at McComb Funeral Home in Shelton. She was born on Dec. 2, 1942, in Seattle. Eileen loved spending time with her family and had a very gentle, kind and loving heart, her fam- ily shared. James Reed James Milton Reed, 78, a 36-year resident of Shelton, died of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) on Oct. 25, 2012, at home. He was born on Sept. 28, 1934, to Clifford Mil- ton Reed and Geraldine E. (May) Reed in Newton, Kan. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952-1961 and was an Airman 1st Class on dis- charge. James married Virginia James Lawrence Reed on Jan. 10, 1970, in Martinez, Calif. He was previously married to Donna Christ- man and Mary Morrow. Both marriages ended in divorce. He retired as a machin- ist from Capital Industrial Supply in Olympia after 32 years. He was a reserve firefighter for 10 years in Martinez, Calif., and pre- viously belonged to the Elks and Moose lodges. He enjoyed photography and gardening. He is survived by his wife Virginia Reed of Shelton; sons Mark Reed of Austin, Texas, David Reed of Puyallup and Lawrence Reed of Shelton; sister Jean (Jim) Livesay of Roseville, Calif.; brother Clifford R. Ruie was bom December 31', 1924, in Shelton, Washington, where she lived until moving to Olympia in 2003. Ruie graduated from Shelton's Irene S. Reed High School in 1942. She worked at Mason General Hospital as a bookkeeper until her retirement in 1985. Survivors include: her sons, George (Maureen) and Robert (Pamela), Olympia, Washington; Vernon (Carol) and Michael (Nancy), Shelton, Washington; Leslie (Kay), Mechanic Falls, Maine; and Thomas, Soap Lake, Washington; sisters, Jeanne Archer and Laura Yorke, Shelton, Washington; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
