Pals had 66 yards on nine carries, while senior safety
J.J. Pals added 56 yards on five carries. Senior fullback
Matt Oien rushed for 47 yards on eight carries with one
touchdown, while senior running back Juan Jimenez
had 39 yards on nine carries with one touchdown.
"Once the team settled down, it was business as
usual," Schultz said.
Defensively, Jimenez led the team with 13 tackles,
while Willey had 11 tackles, one fumble recovery and
one sack. O'Neil recovered two fumbles. J.J. Pals and
junior cornerback Austin Thompson both had one in-
terception.
Schultz said the team missed a couple of tackles and
had to get its bearings in the first quarter.
On Saturday, there will be no room for error against
Neah Bay.
'They're the team that knocked us out of the play-
offs by beating us in the pigtail game last year 40-0 at
halftime," Schultz said. 'They run the ball well, throw
the ball well, play great team defense and are very dis-
ciplined."
He said Neah Bay runs an I formation most of the
time.
'Tge have to cover the pass and well be good as long
as we can block and tackle," Schultz said. "It all comes
down to who can block, tackle and get off blocks."
Neah Bay has competed for the state title for the
past two years, which Schultz said gives the team an
advantage.
"It's kind of a David-versus-Goliath story here, we're
hoping," he said.
