bazaar sponsored annually by
Order of Eastern Star No. 40 will
be held on Friday in the Masonic
Temple.
From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. the
bazaar will be in progress with
lunch to be served between the
hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
In addition to traditional
bazaar items, the sale will feature
white elephants and baked goods.
The lunch will offer a choice Of
soups, sandwiches and cakes with
coffee.

THE FIRST THANKSGIVING will be recreated in Mt. View School on
Wednesday when the 90 students enrolled in three second-grade classes hold
a sack-lunch feast in the school hall. Half will be garbed as pilgrims and the
others as Indians. Modeling costumes are Danny Chapman, right, and Kellie
McAferty. Rabbits raised in Mrs. McMullins' second-grade classroom are
cuddled by third-graders Shelly Chapman, left, and Vicki Tracy.

Mrs. William O'Neill, Shelton,
has been asked by Pat Boone and
George Otis to co-host a ten-day
tour and conference to Israel in
March of 1976.
The tour will be highlighted
by such personalities as "The
Hawaiians," a Christian singing
duo; the Pat Boone family; Mike
Curb of "The Mike Curb
Congregation ;" Congressman
Spending by

"The City of Shelton
budgeted to spend $39.34 per
person for law enforcement and
$22.60 per person for fire control
in 1975," said the Washington
State Research Council in a recent
report on city budgeting.
According to the research
council, Shelton ranks 13th in per
capita spending for law
enforcement and ranks 30th in
per capita spending for fire
control among the 50 largest
cities in the state.

Wifiiam O'Neill of Shelton, Dan

both are familiar with Israel and
both speak Hebrew.
