Back in 1974 Eli and Susy Beaman stopped in to Shelton

solid waste disposal facilities has
been and may be expected to
continue to be minimal on certain
holidays, and
WHEREAS, operation of
these facilities on holidays results
in inconvenience to the operating
personnel and increased cost to
the county.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED that effective at
once the Central Landfill and the
three Collection-Transfer Stations
near Belfair, Union and
Hoodsport will be closed on
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New
Year's Day.
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED that the Director of
Public Works is hereby authorized
and directed to effect said
closures and to post conspicuous
notice thereof at each location so
affected.
