Kilmer outlines Democratic group’s climate change fight

The United States has a “moral
obligation” to act on climate change,
U.S;' Rep. Derek Kilmer wrote last
week in an op—ed column.
On Friday, Kilmer (D-Gig Harbor)
mapped out policy principles and en-
dorsed legislation to combat climate
change by the New Democrat Coal-
tion (NDC) in Roll Call, a Wash-
ington, D.C.-based newspaper and

greenhouse gas emissions mitigation,
adaptation, and finance, negotiated
