state champions ran their record
to 3-0 last week, knocking off
North Thurston 14-4 and Tumwa-
ter 12-6.
Senior veteran Michelle Rob-
inson, fresh off her first-team all-
league season for the league-run-
ner-up Climber soccer girls, led the
victors with a 404 series against
North Thurston. Teammate and
fellow state champ Alisha Wade
followed with a 234 to top the
single-game list and wound up
with a 395 for the two-game series.
Senior veteran Cammille Olinger,
another member of the Climb-
ers' state-championship squad of
a year ago, came through with a
335 series to lead the way against
Tumwater. State-championship-
sharing junior teammate Brittney
Stoutnar rolled a 182 for high-
game honors in that match.
The Climber jayvees, mean-
while, defated both rivals by
matching 15-1 counts. Robinson
had a 204 in the Tumwater clash.

in the evening in the Oakland Bay
Junior High School gym.
"If you have a bat and glove,
bring them and I will let you know
if they are good to use," he says.
"Wear tennis shoes. You will work
out in the gym."
On days when there is no school
there will be no sessions, he adds.
