WAYNE "RED" JOSLIN, Parts Manager
Wayne, better known as "Red", has been employed by us for 13 years as parts manager. He
started his career in 1950. His wife, Betty Joslin, is the bookkeeper in our general office. His parts
department now features a complete line of Ford and Autolite parts. So the next time your Ford or
Mercury needs parts see "Red. He'll be glad to help you.
DON JOHNSON, Parts Man
Don put 14 years in the service station
business with me when he started in 1951 at my
Associated station. He came to work for us in the
parts department in 1964. Living is Shelton since
1947, he married the former Georgia Plews in
1952. They have five children, Gay, Greg, Cherie,
Lori and Lisa.
HELEN
Office Manager
In 1957 Helen started in automotive accounting for a Ford dealership in the lower Yakima
Valley and continued as office manager until she and her family moved to Yakima in 1962. There,
she was office manager for Morrow Motors, a Lincoln-Mercury dealership, until ]965 when she
married Bud Soper and they moved to Shelton. When Shirley Nelson "retired" this year, she was
named as office manager, her "favorite type of work". Helen and Bud have two daughters, Jan and
Linda Kriebs, both attending W.S.U., and son Mark 5, who, as Helen says, "keeps the house
interesting".
BETTY JOSLIN, Bookkeeper
Bet ty has been employed with us for
approximately two years. Prior to this she was a
full-time housewife, having had four children,
one of whom, Terry, is now married. Jay is 15,
Carol, 13 and DeAnn who is 11. She has been
married to Wayne "Red" Joslin, our parts
manager, for 22 years and they are grandparents
of two little girls.
SH IRLEY N ELSO N, Secretary-Treasurer
Shirley started working for Jim Pauley in 1960, and
partially retired in July, 1970. She lived in Shelton all her
life until 1965 when she moved to the Mud Bay area after
marrying Howard Nelson. She has 3 daughters, 3
step-sons, 2 step-daughters, and 2 grandsons.
