Lilliwaup By DOLORES DRAKE Mike and Corinne McGrsdy, becoming well-known as the couple who exchanged roles for a year, resulting in Mike becoming a househusband while Corinne supplied the family income, were Lilliwaup visitors on the weekend. They came for a couple of restful days with relatives, after winding iup in Seattle a series of tours !throughout the country in promotion of Mike's new book, *'Kitchen Sink Papers," telling the story of their eventful year. Published by Doubleday, the book is serious in a humorous WS~y. Coming to Lilliwaup was a I sort of homecoming for Mike because, with his mother and two brothers, Pat Jr. and Seamus, he had lived here and attended school during World War II. They were houseguests of the author's brother and sister-in-law, Seamus and Ann McGrady, who have spent the past two years in the Lilliwaup summer home of their parents, Pat and Grace McGrady of New York. As hosts they were prepared to fulfill Mike's nostalgic desire for Hood Canal oysters, salmon and other seafood. Saturday morning John and "Sammie" Robinson, uncle and aunt, entertained the McGradys with a brunch at their Lilliwaup $ D-60 00 $65.00 DOWN $11.61/24 mo. 12% APR D-80 00 O0 $69.45 DOWN $12.98/24 mo. 12% APR s 98oo $45.95 DOWN $11.30/18 mo. 12% APR s2695--$3 95 607 So. The Robinsons' son-in-law, Steve Morris of Washington, D.C., was also a guest and later in the day daughter Frances of Tacoma arrived to see her cousins. Other relatives, cousins Wi, ard and Thelma Boiling of Hawaii and Portland, Oregon, were here, overnight guests of the Jack Cattos on Indian Beach. "It was great having Corinne with me," said Mike of their experiences with interviews, television shows and the autographing of books. "When I was stumped with a question, l could always turn to Corinne." They had been in the Midwest, Florida and California before coming to Seattle, spending about a week at a time on the tour and touching home base at Northport, Long Island, to see their children, Scan, Siobhan and Liam, between visits. Response in the Seattle area and Alaska surprised the writer. Family members supplied him with local reviews they had not seen. Mike enjoyed the caricature of himself by a Seattle newspaper artist. When Mike and Corinne return home they will continue their new arrangement of taking alternate weeks for household management. Mike will continue writing and his wife her growing ur "business of designing many articles of plastic and jewelry, a project she started in their basement. "Whose turn is it to take over house chores when you get back?" they were asked. 'Tm afraid it's my turn," Mike said ruefully.
