Tuesday on city's 2020 budget The Shelton City Council hosts its final public hearing on its 2020 budget at its regular meeting at 6 pm. Tuesday at the Shelton Civic Center. The proposed budget is I $30.4 million, with a General Fund allocation of $12.3 mil- lion. The council is scheduled to vote on adopting the budget at Tuesday’s meeting. The council hosted the first public hearing on the budget at its Nov. 19 meeting. No one from the public stepped up to the microphone to comment. City administrators and the council have identified home- lessness as a priority in the budget.
