A year after their first-ever trip
to state, the girls of Owl volleyball
out at Mary M. Knight settled for
a near miss this past season.
Although they finished second
in league with a record of 9-5, they
wound up third - one place shy of
advancement - in the district don-
nybrook despite having a league-
best seven earn all-conference
distinction by vote of the head
coaches.
Making the first-team grade
for the Owls were senior Cassy
Willey, junior Teryssa Toppano,
senior Shelby Adsero and class-
mate Carissa Connors, all veterans.
Long-time mentor Kitty Breh-
meyer was named "Coach of the
Year."
And joining the
elite as honorable mentions
Owls Amanda Vera and
Scott, both veteran juniors.
Rounding out the
team's roster this fall were
Kingery, Rikki Cloud and
Mark.
Back as assistant coach
was veteran Tiki Willey.

A year after their first-ever trip
to state, the girls of Owl volleyball
out at Mary M. Knight settled for
a near miss this past season.
Although they finished second
in league with a record of 9-5, they
wound up third - one place shy of
advancement - in the district don-
nybrook despite having a league-
best seven earn all-conference
distinction by vote of the head
coaches.
Making the first-team grade
for the Owls were senior Cassy
Willey, junior Teryssa Toppano,
senior Shelby Adsero and class-
mate Carissa Connors, all veterans.
Long-time mentor Kitty Breh-
meyer was named "Coach of the
Year."
And joining the
elite as honorable mentions
Owls Amanda Vera and
Scott, both veteran juniors.
Rounding out the
team's roster this fall were
Kingery, Rikki Cloud and
Mark.
Back as assistant coach
was veteran Tiki Willey.
