The Shelton girls' bowl-
ing team dominated North
Thurston last week.
The Lady Climbers de-
feated the Rams with an
overall pinfall of 1,520 com-
pared to 1,394 on Nov. 20 at
Aztec Lanes in Olympia.

in Olympia, "They did
3 p.m. an excel-
lent job."
He moved senior Lilian
Zacarias up from junior var-
sity to replace Ewart. In her
first official match on var-
sity, Zacarias bowled a 149
and a 147.
"Lilian really bowled well
for her first real match on
varsity," Snyder said.
Another change to the
team came when Snyder
moved senior Lindsey Cox
from the lead-off spot to the
anchor, where Ewart nor-
mally bowls.
"I think Lindsey handled
the pressure of bowling as
the anchor well," Snyder
said.
Cox led the team with
scores of 166 and 168. She
was the highest scoring
bowler for game one while
senior Holly Hayman led
game two with a score of
182.
Snyder said Hayman
made some adjustments
after game one, when she
bowled a 131.
"It really worked well for
her," he said.
Snyder said the Lady
Highclimbers (4-1) are in
the top three teams in the
3A Narrows League with
Wilson and Timberline. He
said all three teams are
close to each other in the
standings.
"We're right in the mix
of things and we'll compete
with any of the teams," Sny-
der said.
The team hosts Mt. Ta-
homa at 3 p.m. today at
Westside Lanes in Olympia.
