Sen. Patty Murray and Rep. Norm Dicks
will host a public meeting from 5-7 p.m. on
Friday, Dec. 2, and the Shelton Civic Cen-
ter to discuss a draft proposal on Washing-
ton wilderness.
The meeting, an Olympic Watershed
Protection Congressional Workshop, will
discuss a proposal released two weeks ago
that would create new wilderness areas in
Washington and Wild and Scenic River and
National Preserve designations.
The Shelton meeting will be one of four
meetings to get public feedback on the pro-
posal.
