SHELTON POLICE Jeanne Smith reported gasoline taken. A vehicle driven by Michael Peden hit a guard rail in a parking lot at the Mason Apartments. Officers were called to the Shelton High School parking lot to assist a female motorist who had a cat caught in the fanbelt of her vehicle. Officers reported they removed one very dead cat from inside the engine compartment of the vehicle and disposed of the cat. Marguerite Madden reported a wrist watch lost. Vernon Honstain reported a check book lost. A vehicle was found to have driven over the lawn at Bordeaux School. A vehicle driven by Michael Pearson and a parked vehicle owned by Peter Vardnof were involved in a collision in front of Brad's No. 1. Robert Sparks reported a window in a residence broken. Janet Viger reported a rock thrown at her vehicle as she was driving down Pioneer Way. A vehicle driven by Ivan Fahrnkopf hit a power pole at Highway 3 and North 13th Street. Fahmkopf was taken to Mason General Hospital with facial injuries, possible broken ribs and internal injuries. Vehicles driven by Delbert Gibson and Arnold Stoehn collided in the Evergreen Square parking lot. Two windows in the Mt. View School Annex were found open. Ray Patrick and John Healy reported a 30-30 rifle, ammunition, a stuffed iguana lizard, a knife and a bayonet taken from their residence. Seventh and Cedar. Damage was reported to park fences. A door to the Mt. View Annex was found open. Vehicles driven by James Hills and Arthur Farr collided at Olympic Highway South and Ellinor. Tricia and Jamie Hills, passengers in the Hills vehicle, were taken to Mason General Hospital for treatment of injuries. Steve Martinell reported about $60 taken from the till at Binger's Service Station. Vehicles driven by Robert Monger, John Keyzers and John Satterfield were involved in a collision on the Hillcrest Hill. Edward Cooper Jr. reported the burglary of a residence. A bicycle was found at a residence on Ellinor and brought to the police station. A vehicle driven by Ed Dunbar backed into a parked motorbike owned by Donald Simmons Jr. ' Vehicles driven by Fay Brewer and Joyce Nichols collided on Olympic Highway South. Ray Rice turned in a set of keys he found. A wallet found at the Shoprite Store was turned in to the police department. Steve Anderson reported the burglary of a residence. Kathy Smith reported a folder lost. C. Albert Fisk reported his parked vehicle hit by another. A bicycle found at Dearborn and Boundary was brought to the police department. SHERIFF'S OFFICE Valerie Huisingh reported a cow loose on the Agate Road. William Miller reported wrenches taken. The Department of Natural Resources reported three chain saws and other items taken from the shop at Mission Creek Youth Camp. Randolph Fitzhum reported rifles taken. Two bicycles were reported found in Lake Limerick. Mrs. Merle Reamer reported gasoline siphoned. Mrs. Warren Stewart reported the burglary of a summer cabin. A pumphouse at the Bear Creek Market was reported entered. Bill Russell reported a garage entered.
