Albert Lee Warbington,
91, died Nov. 25, peace-
fully at his home in Kirk-
land.
He had recently moved
from West Seattle and was
previously from Belfair.
He was born Oct. 20,
1920, in
Dora-
do, Kan-
sas, to
Fred and
Ida War-
bington
and grew
up near
Hoquiam.

served in
the U.S. Marine Corps on
Saipan and Tinian in the
Pacific.
He married Doris Mae
Olson on June 6, 1951, in
Decorah, Iowa.
He obtained a master's
degree in civil engineer-
ing from the University of
Washington.
He was a hydropower
engineer for many years
with the Army Corps of
Engineers in Seattle be-
fore retiring early to pur-
sue sailing adventures
around the world.
He spent the next 15
years sailing the South
Pacific, the Caribbean
and Europe.
He was active in the
First Lutheran Church
of West Seattle and
Christ Lutheran Church
of Belfair.
His family said he was
a good father, friend and
neighbor who enjoyed
the outdoors, working
and playing hard, and
having a lively discus-
sion.
The family shared that
they enjoyed hearing
stories of his many esca-
pades.
He is survived by his
brother Carl Warbing-
ton of Hoquiam; sister
Helen Warbington of
Portland, Ore.; children
Michael Warbington,
Colorado Springs, Colo.,
Claire Stauffer of Both-
ell, Ralph Warbington
of Seattle and Ruth
Warbington of Portland,
Ore.; former wife Doris
Warbington of Seattle;
grandchildren Miles and
Wayne Stauffer, Mi-
chael, Jeanne, Daniel and
Claire Warbington, and
Kathryn Hausken; ex-
tended family, and many
friends.
He was preceded in
death by his youngest
sister Mary Ruth Fleming
and his son-in-law David
Stauffer.
A memorial service will
be held at 1 p.m. on Dec.
17, at Christ Lutheran
Church, 3701 NE North
Shore Rd, Belfair.

Jr., 90, died Nov. 27, in

on old cars.
His family said his
nickname was Johnny
Cash.
He made his own CD
called "Heart Don't Leave
Me."
He is survived by
daughters Jacie Sweeney
(Ocar Lizzotte) of Fol-
som, Calif. and Cassie
Sweeney (Phil Warm-
brodt) of Seaside, Ore.;
sons Keith Sweeney
(Leigh) of Sisters, Ore.
and Bill Sweeney (Linda)
of Sisters, Ore.; numer-
ous nieces, nephews,
grandchildren and great-
grandchildren.
His wife June, brother
John and sister Nina pre-
ceded him in death.
A celebration of his life
will be held at 3 p.m. on
Dec. 9 at Seaside Ameri-
can Legion.

DONALD R. SWEIGART (DUTCH)
Our beloved Dutch died quietly in his sleep, at home,
in Union,Washington on November25th, 2011.
Dutch was 83 years old.
He is survived by his wife Sherry, children Don,
Dennis and Cheryl Mosier, nieces Sheila Swanger,
Jennifer Mayer, Jessica Michalsen and numerous
loving grand and great grandchildren.

Dutch enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1946 and served 18
months as a paratrooper in the 501st Airborne Division.
He re-enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1951 serving in the
and as a special services officer 27 years.
Dutch was diagnosed with mesothelioma in January 2010.
He put down his shovel and truck keys and underwent all the treatment possible.
Dutch was a happy, energetic, fun-loving, gifted and extremely caring man,
whose greatest joy was helping others. He will truly be missed by all those
whose lives he touched and by his family, many friends and neighbors.
Dutch's last act of kindness was willing his body to the University of
Washington, School of Medicine, Department of Biological Structure for
teaching and research.
As requested by this humble soul, there will be no service. Remembrances may
be made to the National Military Family Association or Alzheimer's Foundation
or to a charity of choice in his honor.

William Perin Heagy
William Perin Heagy, 85, passed away at his home in
Issaquah, WA on Thursday, November 24, 2011. He was
born in Sheridan, WY on October 15, 1926 to Perin and
Cathryn (Robertson) Heagy.
William was married to Katherine E. Steinke for 55
years. She preceded him in death in 2002. On February
19, 2006 he married Marjorie Houston Shreve in Union,
WA.
William served in the US Army during WWII. He
had worked as a Civil Engineer for the Federal Highway
Administration in Wyoming, California and Washington
and for the US Navy Defense Department, retiring in
1988. He was a member of the Alderbrook Country
Club and enjoyed playing golf and spending time with
his family in Arizona during the winter months. He had
attended the Union Community Church while living in
Union, WA.
William was preceded in death by his wife Katherine
Heagy in 2002, his daughter, Diane Leigh Heagy in
1970 and his brother, Jimmy Lee Heagy in 1984 and he
is survived by his wife, Marjorie, Shreve of Issaquah,
WA, his son, William P. Heagy Jr. of Bakersfield, CA,
his daughters, Jean van Bladeren (Ron) of Vancouver,
WA and Linda McGonigal (Larry) of Bakersfield,
CA, his sister, Wilma Sheldon (Bob) of Gig Harbor,
WA, his sister-in-law, Maxie Heagy of Sheridan,
Wv, stepdaughter, Laura Calvin of College Station,
TX, stepson, Ken Shreve of Sammamish, WA, his
sister-in-law, Jeannie Kuhlman of Mesa, AZ and nine
grandchildren and numerous nieces, and nephews.
At his request there will be no services. Arrangements
are under the direction of McComb Funeral Home,
Shelton, WA.
