A goal of $1,000 is sought to make
possible Christmas baskets of food and
toys for Mason County's deserving needy
families. Each year, since 1946, the joint
40 & 8-Journal Christmas project has
placed yuletide baskets in from 60 to over
100 homes. The average is around 75 fam-
ilies.
