Scissors
need oiling
The sewing scissors should be
oiled occasionally, the WSU
Cooperative Extension Service
recommends. Just drop oil on
the blades near the point where
they join and work the blades
back and forth. The oil will
work its way into the screw. A
mild household oil such as
sewing machine oil is suggested.
