"Indi is a four-year letter
winner, returning state com-

fastest swimmer in several
events," Chad Youngquist,
co-head coach, said. "He is
a three-sport varsity athlete
and has an SAT score in the
top four for SHS seniors."
Endicott said he decided
to run for class president for
the scholarship money and
leadership experience.
"I decide the senior meet-
ings, design senior sweats,
set up fundraisers and de-
cide what the senior ball
will be," Endicott said of his
duties as president.
He stated he is enjoying
his term.
"I like being in a leader-
ship position because I'm
really good at organizing
groups," he said.
As a senior enrolled in
all honors classes, Endicott
maintains a B-average and
is waiting until second se-
mester to apply for St. Mar-
tin's University in Lacey.
"I like the campus and
it's small and kind of out
of the city so there aren't
too many people," he said.
"I've also talked to the dean
and the coach for track and
field and they're both really
nice."
He is planning to major
in psychology to become a

In two matches last week, the Shel-
ton wrestling team defeated three oppo-
nents and then went on to take fourth
at its holiday tournament over the
weekend.
On Tuesday, Dec. 13, the Highclimb-
ers defeated Stadium in a dual match

Cullough at 120 with a 3:30 fall; Adam
Coffman at 138 with a technical fall

Dylan Corey with a 3:45 fall and Ricar-
do Franco with a 2:50 fall.
"Franco capped off the night with a
second round fall at 182 and Coffman
was strong in his performance to techni-

In a double dual match on Thursday,

The Highclimbers ended their week
with Shelton's annual Holiday Tourna-

took fourth place with a team score of
126.5.
"As a team, the most impressive
Hanson
feat was scoring points at ten different
weight classes on Saturday," Lacy said.
"While we were a little short of our team
goal of earning a trophy, the entire ros-
ter competed well and bounced back
quickly when setbacks were placed in
front of them."
Winning first place for the High-
climbers was Barber while Johnathen
Dennis at 195 and Ben Anderson at 285
both took second.
"I think I'm doing pretty well com-
pared to how I have in previous years,"
Barber said. "My semi-final match was
pretty tough but I knew if I kept my
head on straight I'd come out on top."
He said the Highclimbers as a team
had seen better days.
"I think it's going to come down to
our guys coming through the back door
and placing," Barber added. "I think
we're going to do really well in postsea-
son because we have a lot of seniors and
• juniors. We're a really strong team and
we're tight together."
Taking third place were T. Mc-
Cullough, Garrick and Coffman.
Placing fifth were Blake Gentry, at
182 and Betsaid Garcia at 220.

"Barber overcame a 7-1 deficit and
