weekend, or any weekend
for that matter, in the 170
finals," Lacy said. "Ander-
son continues to perform at
a very high level and had an
incredible semifinals match
against a state veteran
from Heritage High School.
The final was 6-5 and he
kept the crowd and his fam-
ily entertained for the en-
tire day. Core had the best
tournament performance of
his career, finishing fifth at
138. He started the day a
little slow, but exemplified
resilience for the remainder
of the day."
Lacy said he wanted to
thank the SHS parents,
wrestling alumni, staff
members, cheerleaders and
sports medicine program
for all their help putting on
this tournament.
"It takes dozens of peo-
ple and hundreds of hours
of work to put on a qual-
ity tournament," Lacy said.
"The above group and the
SHS wrestling team showed
teams from around western
Washington outstanding
'Shelton hospitality.'"
The team is scheduled to
compete next at the Varisty
Pac Coast Tournament at
10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec.
29 at Hudson Bay High
School. The Highclimbers
will return home at 7 p.m.
on Thursday, Jan. 5 against
Bellarmine Prep.

someone's issues and help
them solve them."
Endicott is hoping to
compete in track and field
for St. Martin's University.
Since he competes in de-
cathalon, Endicott said he
is spread even throughout
all track and field events.
"Track and field is my
favorite sport because the
people who do it are really
nice," he said. "It's a good
way to excell independent-
ly while the other sports
are teams."
When he is not in school
or playing sports, Endicott
remains busy.
He has played piano for
five years now and enjoys
creating things out of duct
tape.
"I make fully function-
ing backpacks," Endicott
said. "My biggest hobby is
writing and I'm trying to
write a screenplay."
Endicott said that be-
cause he gets bored eas-
ily, he tries a lot of new
things.
