Shelton grapplers added two more victories to their chain over the past week, defeating North Thutslon 48-14 and beating North Kitsap 54-5. In the North Thurston t:olllt)t'lJtl~ll, Brooks Farrell, at 98 pounds, lost his bout to Mike McLoughlin by being pinned at 1 " I t, of the second period. Brad Stites ended deadh)cked wilh Paul Minnitti in the 105 pound ~lass, Rich Schmidt won the 112 pound class by way of a forfeit. Mark Lewis won his match 10-0 in the 119 pound class. Greg Radzykewczi pinned his 126-pound Elmer Smith opponent at 1:07 of the third p{~nned h]S~man in i~!b9 ~bf the~ pertod. first period. Wayne Alexander pinned his man in the 132 pound class :44 of the third period. Dave Nutt at 138 pounds came up with Shelton's third consecutive pin. Dean Medcalf won the 145 pound class, 8-4. At 155 pounds Bob Woods was pinned ! :31 into the first period. Mark Wittenberg pinned his man in 106 of the third cluarter. Bill Gray continued his winning streak by winning a decision to give Shelton the 48-14 victory. In the North Thurston Junior Varsity match Shelton won 54-0. Those Shelton men pinning their opponents were: Randy Howard, Sonny Vercher, Bob Fox and Randy Stevens. When Shelton met North Kitsap last Monday, the winning ways continued. "MAY I HAVE A LOOK?" asks the ref, as he pokes his head into the middle of this 185-pound match against North Thurston. Hidden by the ref in this photo is Greg Radzykewczi, who collected a pin for the Highclimbers in Shelton's slaughter of the Rams Thursday night in Shelton Gym. Brooks FarreU, in the 98 pound class, pinned his man in :51 seconds of the second period. Brad Stites defeated his man 9-0. Rich Schmidt pinned his man in 1:15 of the third quarter. Mark Lewis pinned his man at 1:49 in the second period. Elmer Smith pinned his opponent at 1:28 in the first period. Wayne Alexander swamped his opponent 22-0 in the 132 pound class. Dave Nutt at 138 pounds pinned his man at 1:28 into the third period. Dean Medcalf won his match 7-2 in the 145 pound class. Bob Woods suffered the only Shelton loss with a 1-10 defeat in the 150 pound class. Mark Wittenberg pinned his man in the 167 pound class at the 1:51 of the second period. Greg Radzykewczi fought to a draw with his opponent in the 185 pound class. Heavyweight Bill Gray continued his winning ways by pinning his man at 1:37 of the first period. Shelton also won the J.V. match by a score of 54-6.
