Christmas Eve
Christmas is a time of peace, a time of joy, true brotherhood and
family tradition. Traditions are molded by the passage of time and most
often celebrated with a rich heritage of festive foods.
But what of peace and the joy of brotherhood? We at Thriftway think,
perhaps, such cherished goals begin with our children.., that the true
spirit of Christmas is best reflected in the faces and hearts of the very young.
And so we asked some of our children.., children of Thriftway
employees.., to help us send this Christmas greeting to you.
Thriftway Food Stores have been serving the families of Washington for
27 years.., and we have to admit this is the first time for us to send you a
special Christmas message. We've been busy building and growing and
keeping pace with the needs of your families. But this Christmas we are
expressing with special warmth and sincerity our appreciation to all of our
customers.., customers who are also our neighbors.., whose children go
to the same schools and churches as our children.
From our family to yours, may your Christmas be one of faith and
hope . . . of peace . . . of brotherhood.
