If you like raisins and cookies
you will undoubtedly like Beth
Brown's Pe~ect Raisin Drops.
They are loaded with raisins, and
oh, so good! The recipe makes
about six dozen good-size cookies.
Both and her husband. Ray, live
on Mr. View in a log house they
not only built themselves, but
cut the logs and lumber for. Their
two children are grown and mar-
ried now but their three grand-
childrn are always welcome in the
cozy, comfortable Brown home.
PERFECT RAISIN DROPS are Beth Brown's favorite cookies,
If you like raisins you will like them, too. Sitting by the fire-
place working on a hooked rug is Beth's idea of a perfect way to
spend a wintry day . . . unless she has a chance to get out on a
river and do some steelhead fishing.
at Stewart's Foodliner for about
10 years.
Bowling and steelhead fishing
are Beth's two favorite forms of
entertainment. She bowls on the
Rayonier and Simpson Women's
Leagues. Her idea of a perfect day
is to bundle up in good, warm
clothes, top them with rain gear,
and go spend the day on a river
bank with Ray waiting for a steel-
head to hit her hook.
Now that she isn't working Beth
is having a wonderful tim9 being
a homemaker. She has found time
to work on a hooked rug and es-
pecially enjoys having time to
spend with her gran4ehildren. She
worked in the meat department
