A DOLL HOUSE furnished and decorated by Camp Fire Takioda Adventurers was presented on Monday to Southside kindergarten. Members of the group are, from left to right, Connie Chapman,Jill Osterman, Andrea Heyd, Pam Taylor, Kari Griese, Sandra Kimery and Katrina Eichinger. Theresa Rhoades is not pictured. F. J. (MAC) McCASLIN, who will retire from Lumbermen's of Shelton at the year's end, was presented with a riverboat arid oars during a recent Christmas party at which he was guest of honor. "Mac" McCaslin will retire For F. J. (Mac)McCaslin, 1323 South Second, Shelton, the best thing about retirement is that he'll have more time to pursue his favorite hobby, fishing. Mac will retire at the end of December after 30 years of service to Lumbermen's Mercantile Company and Lumbermen's of Shelton. At a recent Lumbermen's Christmas party Mac was the featured guest, and Lumbermen's presented to him a custom-made, 16-foot fiberglass riverboat, something Mac has "always wanted." Three companion oars were givefi to him by Lumbermen's employees. Originally from Oregon, Mac met his wife, Jufia, in Idaho where both lived at the time. He was first employed as a logger and later served in the U.S. Army at Fort Lewis, In 1945 Mac joined Lumbermen's Mercantile Company in the hardware department, when "'the L.M." occupied the present Miller's building. Mac stayed with Lumbetmen's when it was purchased from Charles Rowe in 1965 by Robert M. Slettedahl. Mt. Moriah Lodge No. 11 F. & A.M. St. John's Night Installation Saturday, December 27 Leonard E. Coles. W.M. Edward B. Auseth, Secretary His duties for several years included the servicing of appliances, and for the last several years he has been manager of the electrical department. Best known at Lumbermen's for his reputation as "The Answer Man," Mac was always the one to consult when there was a problem or question that no one else could solve. Employees and customers alike have often depended on Mac to come up with the right answer, whether dealing with a leaky faucet or a tricky wiring problem. Mac will be missed by his many friends and customers. But those who are fishermen will probably see just as much of Mac out on the water as they saw of him on the floor at Lumbermen's. Doll house given to school A doll house was presented to Southside kindergarten on Monday as a Christmas gift from the Camp Fire Takioda Adventurers. The easiest way is to use a lash cleaner made specifically for false eyelashes. If old adhesive and mascara build up, lashes won't stay on properly.
