Lester W. Banner Lester William Bonner died December 17 in Shelton at the age of 78 years. He was born August 14, 1897 in Latah, Washington. A resident of the Union area for the past 35 years, Mr. Bonner was self-employed as a Christmas tree farmer. He was a member of Shelton Rock and Mineral Society and of Twanoh Grange No. 1118. Survivors include his wife, Fern A. Bonner of Union; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Blake of Union and Mrs. Shirley Porter of Seattle; two sisters, Mrs. Cleo Smith of Kellogg, Idaho and Mrs. Fern Ware of Spokane; two brothers, Harold Bonner of Sadona, Arizona and Orland Ferry of Spokane; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The Reverend Carl Green officiated at a service held at 10 Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lech of Dickinson, North Dakota. The Reverend Michael Feeney officered at a Mass of Christian Burial said at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Edward's Catholic Church of Mrs. Lyall (Janice) Odegard of Bellevue; a granddaughter, Deborah L. Hough of Lacey; and three grandsons, John W. Hough of Lacey, Gary L. Odegard of Anchorage, Alaska, and Carson E. Memorial Park. Mrs. Rhoades was born September 9, 1945 in Shelton. She was a lifelong resident of the Shelton and Olympia areas and Mark R. Ryan A funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Cassedy and Allen Mortuary, 1224 South I Street, Tacoma, for Mark R. Ryan, 74, of Tacoma and He is survived by his wife, Margaret, of Tacoma; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Hale of Tacoma; and by several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Tacoma. Interment was in Shelton Memorial Park. Frances Rhoades Surviving her are two sons, had lived in the Tacoma and Margaret M. Smith Birdie Fisk Mrs. Birdie Fisk, 88, died Saturday in Shelton. She had resided in Shelton for the past five years. On September 13, 1887 she was born in Carrizo, Oklahoma, an area known as the neutral strip prior to becoming a portion of the state. When Mrs. Fisk was a small child in 1890 her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Crawford, homesteaded along the five-mile creek in Boise Frances Lucille Rhoades, 30, Kenneth H. and John W. Rhoades Hoodsport areas for 66 years. For Margaret M. Smith, 68, died died Friday near Olympia as the result of an automobile accident. An evening vigil service was held at 7:30 p.m. Monday in St. Edward's Catholic Church of Shelton where Mass of Christian Burial was said at 11 a.m. Tuesday by the Reverend Michael Feeney. Interment was in Shelton of Olympia; a daughter, Ronda F. Rhoades of Olympia; her father, Ernest Greene of Whittier, Alaska; her mother, Doris Greene of Olympia; her grandmother, Mrs. Laura E. Greene of Aberdeen, Washington; and a brother, Kenneth H. Greene of Anchorage, Alaska. the 40 years prior to his retirement he was employed as a power operator at the Cushman power plant. Mr. Ryan was a member of the Catholic Church, Elks Lodge, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. in Shelton on December 17. She was born October 1, 1907 in Tyndall, South Dakota. A resident of the Shelton area for the past 25 years and a retired registered nurse, Margaret Smith trained for three years at Mother Cabrini Memorial Hospital in Chicago and was a graduate of kind of store" Shop 9:30-5:30 Friday 'til 8:30 LAY-AWAY a.m. Saturday in Batstone Funeral Home. Private interment was held in Shelton Memorial Park on Monday. Judith Christensen H.V. Christensen Henery V. and Judith Helen Christensen died near Olympia on Friday, their deaths resulting from an auto accident. Henery was 29 years of age and Judith was 22 years old. Born August 26, 1946 in Port Angeles, Mr. Christensen had been a resident of Olympia for the past seven years and was employed as a block maker for a cement company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mrs. Christensen, born September 9, 1953 in Dickinson, North Dakota, was a housewife and a resident of the Olympia area, The couple is survived by two sons, Richard and Carl of Olympia. Henery is survived by three brothers, Miles Laramie and Ken Christensen of Port Angeles and Alfred Christensen of Olympia; six sisters, Ovetta Steilcom and Margaret Gutherie of Port Angeles, Irene Aseltin of Bremerton, Rosie Minish and Lorraine Rome of Shelton, and a sister, Marjorie, whose surname and address are unknown. Surviving Judith are four brothers, William Rhoades Jr. of OLympia, Frank Rhoades of Chicago, Illinois, and Chester Rhoades and Bob Rhoades, both of Shelton; four sisters, Delores Delamarter of Shelton, Beverely Baldwin of Blue River, Oregon, and Mary and Theresa Rhoades of the family home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Rhoades St. of Shelton; and her grandparents, Valley, Idaho. On October 29, 1905 she was married to Harry L. Fisk in Meridian, Idaho where she lived for many years and where her family was reared. Mrs. Fisk is survived by a son, Othniel E. Fisk of Boise, Idaho;' two daughters, Mrs. Belle F. Doolittle of Los Angeles, California and Mrs. Dorothy F. Whaley of Shelton; a brother, E. C. Crawford of Eagle, Idaho; a sister, Mrs. Mamie Pilgrim of San Jose, California; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Robison Jerread Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home in Meridian, Idaho with burial following in Meridian Cemetery. Albert E. Hough A service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Batstone Funeral Home for Albert Edward Hough, 78, who died Thursday in Mason General Hospital. Union City Lodge No. 27 F and AM will officiate with inurnment to take place in Shelton Memorial Park. Mr. Hough was born April 12, 1897 in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Formerly of Seattle, he had lived for the past 21 years in the Union area where he owned and operated Ed's Union Barber Shop. He was a member of Rainier Lodge No. 189 F and AM in Seattle and on November 14, 1974 was made an honorary member of Union City Lodge No. 27 F and AM.
