Banking Philosophy: "All our tellers know
all our customers. I think it's important

when you walk into Ciay's
office, you'll understand why.
It's because he believes in a folksy,

TV parenting course offered
Olympic College is offering a
telecourse on parenting and child
development entitled
"Footsteps." Footsteps focuses
on some of the major problems
and concerns faced by
prospective parents and parents
of young children. It will take
viewers through real-life
situations involving five families
who deal with problems that are
of concern to all parents:
identity, individuality, discipline,
play and fantasy, food habits,
television and death in the
family.
Rob Reiner and Penny
Marshall introduce the series and
recall events in their childhood
that would apply to problems
children are experiencing today.
Footsteps is a provocative,
00IILLER
stimulating, television learning
experience which will provide
the viewer with an opportunity
to earn college credits with a
minimum of classroom
attendance and yet have the
benefit of instructor contact -
in discussion groups or by the
telephone.
Registration will be held at
the first orientation meeting
which will be Thursday, January
4 at 6 p.m. in Room H 102 on
the Olympic College campus.
The first program of
Footsteps will be aired on
Channel 13 at 12:15 p.m.,
January 9. It will be repeated on
Channel 13 at 6:30 p.m.,
January 11. Channel 9 will air
the first program at noon,
January 13.
